On April, 22, 2018, the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society will be celebrating Earth Day. The South Broward High School Coral Club will join with demonstrations on how we can help heal the coral on our reefs. The Nova Southeastern University Halmos College Peer Educators will also help to answer any questions about the marine ecosystem that surrounds us in this part of the world. There will be Colorful Warrior Writers on hand to offer a literary respite from an otherwise bustling Earth Day on the New River. This event is open to the public and free of cost.
