As per updates received on May, 17, 2018 The City of Fort Lauderdale is deploying robotic, crawling cameras to provide a comprehensive diagnosis of pipeline conditions in the city. This is the latest technology that enables the city to assess and prioritize infrastructure investments. The city is diagnosing leaks, blockages and pipeline deterioration by using high-powered zoom optics. Robotic cameras are also helping city to officials to  identify opportunities to reduce inflow and infiltration into their sanitary sewer system.
