Banning The Use Of Non Biodegradable Containers

As per updates received on June, 26, 2018, The City of Hollywood has initiated a step towards banning the use of non biodegradable containers such as plastics and expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) for the purpose of serving food products. According to Chapter 97.05 of the City of Hollywood Code of Ordinances, starting from October 1, 2018, this ban will also apply to any establishment located east of the Intracoastal Waterway that sells food intended for consumption by customers off their premises.
