As per the City of Fort Lauderdale’s “Go Big, Go Fast” program, here are the infrastructure improvement updates. The installation of Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the new 30-inch sewer main is now complete. Phase 5 of the installation is on track for completion in May 2018. In other infrastructure news, residents should note that groundwater removal is underway for the water that seeped up during the installation of the new Las Olas force main. Authorities have stated that the visible water on the swales and parking lots is merely groundwater, not wastewater.
