Fort Lauderdale Infrastructure Updates

According to an update On March, 29, 2018 the new Fort Lauderdale Beach Lift Station will add almost half a million gallons of capacity to the barrier island sewer system. The new station will have one-half million gallons a day (MGD) of additional waste water from Central Beach area to the G.T Lohmeyer Wastewater Treatment Plant. The crews have already installed the wet well and value vault and the installation of additional piping is underway. Another infrastructure update includes the completion of Central Beach Inflow and Infiltration Rejection Project on Fort Lauderdale Beach.
