Did you know Miramar is Broward County's 5 Largest City as far as Population and 3rd Largest as far as land size?  Miramar has 11 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools, various charter schools and a special needs school, as well as 8 institutions of higher learning. It is also home to some of the top Fortune 500 companies in America, did you know the following companies call Miramar home?... Premiere Beverage, Spirit Airlines, Carnival Cruise Lines, Comcast of South Florida, Humana Medical, Royal Caribean Cruise Lines, Southern Wines & Spirits, Caremark as well as several government agencies including the FBI.   

According to an estimate in 2016 The City is home to over 125,000 residents, who live in the over 31.3 sq miles. The linear city is bordered on the North by Pembroke Pines, to the South by Miami Dade County, to the East by Hollywood and West Park and to the West by the Everglades wetlands. 

The City features a wide array of parks which include 22 neighborhood parks, 1 regional park and 10 community parks where amongst other things you can find football, soccer, baseball, tennis, cricket, racketball, volleyball, swimming and track and field.  

Miramar provides great access for commuters both North and South as both The Florida Turnpike and Interstate 75 go right though it, with Interstate 95 offering egress just east of the City. 

Miramar also provides state of the art healthcare with Memorial Miramar located just west of I75.  Part of the Memorial Healthcare System, Memorial Miramar offers both adult and pediatric services including an Emergency Room. 

No city is complete without the Arts, and Miramar is no different.  The Miramar Cultural Arts center located in town hall features performances from theatre groups from around the world.   The latest Miramar attraction is the Amphitheater located within the Regional Park, this outdoor concert venue offers something for everyone.
