Broward Country Law Enforcement started a 2-week urban training exercise program January 5, 2018. The program provides the Department of Defense with realistic urban sites for preparedness training to be rolled out across the country. Also, Cooper City Building department has waived certain fees as an effort to execute repairs for residents affected by Hurricane Irma. The waiver was instated on Friday, February 16, 2018 for direct replacements to damage from Hurricane Irma. City Hall also has an ongoing Traffic Advisory. The City Hall parking has been closed for 60 days since December 4th, 2017 due to renovations. Alternative parking space is provided on the East Side of SW 90TH Avenue in the paved Swale area.
